What is Esports?

Esports is one of the fastest growing activities in the world and should not be considered as “just video games”.

Esports is competitive gaming between two teams and conducted in an organized and supervised environment. Esports more closely resembles an organized hockey league versus playing shinny at the local rink with friends.

Organized and purposeful play in Esports provides opportunities for collaboration, communication, leadership, critical thinking skills and life-skills development.
